Drug Side Effects
Readers, I have just attacked by influenza, cough, dizziness and other symptoms that accompany it. As usual I immediately bought a free flu medicine sold in the market. Perhaps there are economic constraints to be ignored because it consume them, without regard to or instead is due to ignorance that was a factor.
Have you ever found the following words (italics) dikemasan or drug brochures?
"... It should not be given to patients who are sensitive to other sympathomimetic drugs ....
... Anti-depressant medication MAO inhibitors type ...
Side effects: ... excitation, tremors, tachycardia, arrhythmias, palpitations, urinary retention ... "
Perhaps we are even laymen but can still take advantage of Internet technology as a medium of information seekers, then we could be more careful in reading the references from various sources. Or we can immediately contact a doctor to get the information. But what about our brothers and sisters are "far" from the technology and doctors because of economic factors?
It would be nice if the medical terminology dibahasakan with "clear" so that there is no longer a "hidden", and the Indonesian people can easily understand the benefits and side effects of certain drugs by reading the indications, contra indications and information listed on drug to be consumed.
